Pav Bhaji Pulao

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup Daawat basmati rice, washed and soaked.
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, garlic, and chili paste( I used 4 cloves garlic, 1 inch ginger, and 3 Thai chilis)
- 1 cup colored bell peppers, chopped 1/4 cup carrots
- 1/2 cup cauliflower Florette (optional)
- 1/3 cup peas
- 1 small, tomato, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Quarter teaspoon cumin, coriander powder
- 2 teaspoon Pav bhaji masala
- Salt to taste
- Cilantro to garnish
- Green onions to garnish
- Grated paneer to garnish
Cook:
- Wash your rice until the water turns clear. Soak the rice in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Bring a pot of water to boil, once spoiling add salt.
- Drain the soaked rice and drop that into the boiling water. Cook for seven minutes. Drain it and set it aside.
- In a pan, heat up some oil or butter, add onions , sauté for one to two minutes. Then add ginger, garlic, and chili paste sauté until it’s fragrant.
- Add the rest of the veggies, sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, add peas, and tomatoes. Cook for 1 -2 minutes. Add in all the masala’s and let this sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and fill the rice in with the veggies.
- Garnish with cilantro, scallions, and paneer. enjoy!
